Leader Chandra Bhandari: “The Parliament Should Be Reinstated to Address Gen-Z’s Demands”

Nepali Congress leader Dr. Chandra Bhandari has said that reinstating the Parliament is necessary to address the demands raised by the Gen-Z movement. According to him, the issues raised by the movement cannot be resolved without amending certain provisions of the Constitution.

Bhandari stated,

“Unless some provisions in the Constitution are amended, the demands raised by the Gen-Z movement cannot be addressed. The most appropriate option would be to reinstate the Parliament for the purpose of constitutional amendment. If the Constitution is not amended, holding elections alone will not bring a solution.”

He further emphasized that a long-term solution for political consensus and institutional stability can only be achieved through constitutional amendments.
