Earthquake of Magnitude 4.9 Shakes Bajhang, No Damage Reported

Kathmandu, October 15 – Residents of Bajhang experienced earthquake tremors early Tuesday morning. The National Seismological and Research Center reported that a 4.9 magnitude earthquake occurred at 1:08 am.

The epicenter of the quake was identified as Dantola in Bajhang. The tremors, which struck during the night, caused panic among local residents and were also felt in neighboring districts.

According to local authorities, no casualties or property damage have been reported following the earthquake.
