Kathmandu, February 23: Nepal Super League football is scheduled to be held from April 25. The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has organized a press conference to inform about the Super League.
According to ANFA, the Super League will be organized by Nepal Sports and Event Management. ANFA will provide technical assistance. All the games of the Super League will be played at Dasharath Stadium. The teams participating in the Super League will represent the cities of each province. The name and owner of the franchise will be made public only later.
Each franchise participating in the Super League will have 20 players, including foreign players. Players will be categorized by ANFA and will be bought and sold through auction process. There will be a total of 19 games in the league in round robin format.
